One Lovely Critter Line

You've already met a few of these cuties, but I thought I'd let them all hang out together. My One Lovely line started with the parrot, which I named One Lovely Parrot, so that's how they got their names :)

One Lovely Bunny has eaten perhaps
one too many eggplants.

One Lovely Cat says
it's time for second breakfast.

One Lovely Fox wants to eat
Some Lovely Chickens.

One Lovely Frog has talents,
but blending in isn't one.

One Lovely Goat will eat cans of any color.

One Lovely Koala thinks you're hiding eucalyptus.

One Lovely Parrot likes long flights on the beach.

All available as prints in my store.

Which one's your favorite? Is there an animal you'd like to see in the One Lovely line?

Butterfly Wisdom

Sometimes I need this reminder:

Available as a print in my shop.

Small things I'm enjoying today: my one-button coffeemaker (I'm not coordinated enough pre-coffee to actually make coffee), a warm house, and peanut butter.

How about you?

One Lovely Frog

His feet are quite sticky
And all different hues
He loves to read novels
And scoff at the news.

Available as a print in my shop, along with his friends :)

Show of hands: who used to have a pet frog??

Be a Heroine

Sometimes unicorns need saving. And you can help! How?
By working on your $%(#*@ novel instead of wasting time online.

That was a self-directed pep talk, but if it helps you,
feel free to dedicate your book to me :)

Get the print, or (now but not forever) the digital download.

Time for me to get back to writing!

Origami Rawr

This guy charmed my heart:

Isn't he fearsome? Tell him he's fearsome, or you'll hurt his feelings. Snag the print or (now but not forever) the digital download.

I think I'm going to have to give him some friends ...

Hope Is The Thing With Feathers

New print, with a quote from Emily Dickinson:

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all
~Emily Dickinson

Available as a print and (now but not forever) as a digital download.

My hope: I hope everyone has enough hot cocoa to get us through these winter storms!

One Lovely Bunny

There was once a wee rodent
With a fuzzy round tail
He combed out his ears
And brought in the mail

Polka dots for everyone
Yes, polka dots galore!
The bunny dyed himself purple
And went to the store.

Wow, this bunny is really into doing chores. Who knew? I think I need to get out more.
Available as a print if you want him for your wall!

If there's an animal you want made in a similar style, let me know :)

Yay blog!

Moving the blog here so the main site can be a better site-like site. You know, more professional. Or something. The internet crickets tell me this is best. And they would know; they're crickets.

I was going to recreate all my posts from last year, but ... you know, they were boring and filled with stupid poems. Then again, stupid poems make me laugh. Here are the highlights:

First:
Scorpion, oh scorpion
How I love you on the wall
I beg of thee, oh scorpion
Into my shoes don't crawl.

I do declare you quite so swell
With feisty reds and stripes galore
That I forgive the need to wrangle
The many different *#^% files needed to sell you in a store.

Then later:

Red fox in the morning
Chickens take warning
Red fox at night
Lock hens up tight

And for the holidays:

Christmas trees, alive and well
In forests green and swirly
Until cut down for holidays
No more home for squirrely

There were a couple more prints, but no more poems. Boo! More poesy is needed in 2015. The worse the better :)

Okay, off to make sure various links work. YAY BLOG!
