The Dots Series

About the series: I first made a print in this style for LOVE, and liked it so much I experimented with other words that inspire me. I love the effervescence and simplicity :)

All available as prints in my shop, and (now but not forever) as digital downloads.

I can also tweak the color scheme if you like, say, DREAM but want it to be purple; just email me for a consult. And let me know if you have a (short; this works only for words 5 letters and less) word you'd like me to add to the series.

If you have a name you'd like in this style (again, it has to be short) you could order that as a custom design as well; just email me with your request. Contact info available on my about page.

Yay dots! What's your favorite?

Be a Heroine

Sometimes unicorns need saving. And you can help! How?
By working on your $%(#*@ novel instead of wasting time online.

That was a self-directed pep talk, but if it helps you,
feel free to dedicate your book to me :)

Get the print, or (now but not forever) the digital download.

Time for me to get back to writing!

Write or Be Eaten

I'm on a writer's retreat in the mountains of West Virginia this weekend (so much snow is occurring! Getting out of here tomorrow will be fun). There's lots of cheese to be nibbled and wine to be sipped, but this helps keep me motivated to, you know, work:

Silly but it works on me :) Get the print, or (now but not forever) the digital download.

Right now I'm working on a fantasy novel. It's big. It's epic. It hurts my head sometimes. But I love it :) Everyone writes something, even if it's just a grocery list (I bet you make a hell of a grocery list). What are you writing these days?

Fish Geniuses

Yes, fish are totally geniuses at ... you know. Fishy things. They're great at swimming, and evading sharks (well, some of them are), and making other fishies, and hiding in anemones. I'd suck at hiding in an anemone. Chalk that up to Things Fish Do Better Than Andrea. Climbing a tree, now, that's another story.

Get it as a print here. Also available (now but not forever) as a digital download.

I like this quote. It's usually attributed to Einstein, but Quote Investigator says maybe not. In any case, it reminds me to stop measuring myself with other people's yardsticks, and to stop being hard on myself when I struggle with things that other people don't.

Because I'm really good at some things. Like knowing when my cat is about to jump onto the bookcase again and knock something over. I am a genius at that! I am also a genius at putting together a cheese plate, a skill which has served me extremely well over the years :)

What are you good at?
